Every time I watch Paris Is Burning, I wonder what happened to these two gay street kids. One was 13 and one was 15 (in roughly 1987). In the director’s commentary, Jennie Livingston and Freddie Pendavis say one of them was adopted and later went to college.

this is something i wonder as well.  i’m still curious.

thats the hard thing about watching old documentaries. they didnt really keep up with the people filmed.

From what I’ve heard they’re still around. I forget what their names are but both of them survived the AIDS epidemic of the 80s and 90s 

woooh. i just had a sigh of relief for people i dont even know. this film needs to be reintroduced to all the youngens’
